Through painting and photography, my work focuses on beauty as revealed in the limitless, quotidian interaction of light and color.  There are so many poems and quiet voices waiting to be heard! This has become even more alive and intense during covid, when Nature speaks with a louder voice to offer us gifts daily. Rooted in the tradition of still life, my work explores relationships, sometimes traveling back in time, yet always using contemporary vernacular to engage in conversation with the inanimate around us. I hope, as sanctuary art, my images offer respite, joy and wonder. Today more than ever my work celebrates the mystery of the ephemeral.
